"What does it mean to have more women in the workspace?" - A Virtual Session for Wheels India Ltd.

The virtual session featured Ms. Gowri Kailasam, CEO of Rane (Madras) Limited, who shared insights from her leadership journey across global and Indian organizations, highlighting resilience, inclusion, and the importance of creating supportive work environments.
The session encouraged meaningful dialogue on well-being, leadership, and the role of women in shaping stronger workplaces.

Workshop on Legal Aspects in dealing with intimate partner violence @ Madras School of Social Work

Shri Shakti Trust, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology (MSc Family Counselling), Madras School of Social Work, conducted a workshop on the legal aspects of dealing with intimate partner violence.
The session was led by Advocate Sudha Ramalingam, who offered critical legal perspectives and practical insights for addressing intimate partner violence within counselling and support frameworks.
The workshop aimed to strengthen awareness, legal literacy, and preparedness among future mental health professionals working with survivors.

A Cyber Security session @ Shriram Groups

The virtual session brought together experts from the Cyber Society of India and the Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai, who shared practical insights on online safety, cyber threats, and preventive measures.
The programme aimed to strengthen digital awareness and empower employees to navigate cyber risks with confidence.

"How can women realize their self worth" - Ms. Prabha Sridevan @ Shriram Groups

In association with Shriram Chits, we conducted a special virtual session for working women on recognising and realising self-worth.
The session was led by Ms. Prabha Sridevan, Justice (Retd.), Madras High Court, who shared thoughtful insights drawn from her legal and leadership journey, encouraging women to reflect on confidence, identity, and self-belief.
The interaction created meaningful space for dialogue around personal empowerment and well-being in the workplace.

Increasing Awareness about Sexual Harassment at Workplace for NOVAC team

The session was led by Ms. Aruna Ganesh, B.A (Hons), LL.B, an advocate with over 28 years of experience in civil, criminal, and corporate law, who provided practical legal insights and clarity on workplace safety and rights.
The interaction aimed to strengthen awareness, encourage responsible conduct, and foster safer, more inclusive work environments.

Personal & Legal Support required for Women during their personal life situation - A Session for NOVAC

We conducted a special session focused on the personal and legal support required by women while navigating challenging life situations.
The session was led by Ms. L. Maithili, B.A. (Hons), LL.B, Secretary of the Madras Tax Bar and a member of the Internal Complaints Committee at Kalakshetra Foundation, who shared practical insights from both legal and institutional perspectives.
The discussion aimed to create awareness, encourage informed decision-making, and reinforce the importance of accessible support systems for working women.

Mindfulness, Justice, and Healing @ Vishnu Mohan Foundation

The event highlighted the importance of gender equity and raising awareness about domestic violence, with Sowmithra Srinivasan showcasing the trust’s dedicated efforts in supporting educated working women through legal assistance, counseling, and advocacy programs. She stressed that achieving true gender equality requires a balance of personal empowerment, mindfulness, and collective societal transformation.

Standing against Domestic Violence @ SICCI, Chennai

The event brought together key leaders, including Vinod Solomon, Secretary General of SICCI, and Subhasri Sriram, Managing Director and CEO of Shriram Capital, to address the pressing issues of domestic violence and gender equality. Discussions highlighted the role of Shakti Public Charitable Trust in providing crucial support to survivors through legal aid, counseling, and corporate collaborations, while also exploring societal norms, legal challenges, and global best practices in fostering a safer and more equitable society.

Gender Equity and Awareness on Domestic Violence @ A M Jain College, Chennai

The event centered on promoting gender equity and highlighted the vital role of Shakti Public Charitable Trust in supporting working women affected by domestic violence. Sowmithra Srinivasan underscored the  importance of raising awareness, providing legal assistance, and fostering personal empowerment. Her address shed light on the real-life challenges women face, the impact of societal expectations, and the need for ongoing self-awareness, collaboration, and boundary-setting to achieve true gender equality.

CREATING SAFE SPACES Online Event

This event focused on how we can create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments for all — especially women and marginalized communities. Featuring Ms. Letika Saran, IPS (Retd.), and Ms. L. Maithili, Advocate and Trustee of Shakti Public Charitable Trust, the session explored how law, governance, awareness, and community support can drive real change.

Women @ HR Conclave 2026

The “Women @ HR Conclave 2026” was an event organized by SICCI (Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry) focusing on empowering women in Human Resources and workplaces, celebrating their leadership and contributions, and addressing key HR challenges and inclusivity in the industry. At the conclave, representatives from Shri Shakti Trust shared insights on gender equality, workplace support systems, and awareness on issues such as domestic violence and women’s rights, highlighting the Trust’s mission to empower women through counselling, legal support, and awareness programs.
