Shri Shakti envisions a society where women live with dignity, equality, and independence, breaking cycles of abuse through systemic change.

About us

Shri Shakti (Shakti Public Charitable Trust) is dedicated to empowering women through targeted counseling, legal aid, and awareness programs to address the challenges they face in modern society. The trust addresses issues of domestic violence and toxic behavior, helping women make informed decisions. Through seminars and collaborations with experts, Shri Shakti raises awareness on gender equality and mental wellness across corporate and educational settings. Supported by domain experts and mentored by notable figures, Shri Shakti seeks to foster partnerships to broaden its impact. The organization focuses on promoting financial awareness for women and legal empowerment, ensuring they can understand and access their rights. By fostering an ecosystem of protection and empowerment, Shri Shakti aims to create a society where women are viewed as equals.

From the Chairman’s desk

At Shri Shakti, our focus extends beyond addressing domestic abuse—it is about uplifting womanhood in India as a whole. For centuries, women in our society have faced systemic inequality and a lack of respect, a situation that persists despite notable social advancements. This deeply entrenched issue requires more than surface-level change; it demands a transformation in the psychology and attitudes of people across generations.

Achieving this change is no small task. It involves undoing mindsets shaped by outdated ideologies and social norms that have long justified injustice. These deeply ingrained beliefs, perpetuated over generations, continue to affect how women are treated in our society.

At Shri Shakti, we recognize the need for sustained efforts to challenge these attitudes and foster respect and equity for women. While the journey is long, we are committed to initiating and driving meaningful change, step by step, towards a society where women are empowered to live with dignity and equality.
